How I mix

Built in the box. Finished through hardware.

Every mix is built in the box and summed through analog hardware: a Dangerous 2-Bus+ with XT and an Audioscape bus compressor. On the way, tracks and buses can run through a Heritage Audio HA-73 EQ, a UA 6176 (610 preamp into an 1176LN), a dbx 160XT, and an opto leveler.

I mix on headphones. In an untreated room, speakers mostly tell you about the room, and headphones give me a more consistent picture of what's actually in the mix. I check mixes on multiple systems and against your reference tracks before they leave, and revisions are included if something doesn't translate on yours.
